Unless you want to know what crap I'm doing at work I have no progress to post hopefully soon but right now I'm dealing with deadlines and commitments and don't have much time
Depends.

I'm not any great paint guy. Is it possible to use 2 different types of primer in the same paint job, similar to the idea of a guide coat, without messing up the final product?

If so, when painting the car of a douche customer, at the primer level can't you, say, draw a giant penis on the hood or down the side in different/slightly different colors? It'd give morale a boost as shop employees know it's there, but nobody else will on the final product.

Stories like that could be fun to hear.

Yeah I haven't managed to brave all 200+ pages just yet, I'm still new here.
Man, you should have been here for the 200 page Iowa Suburban.
just be glad we didn't break out the popcorn!😆

clutch, sounds like the frame rivets missing would explain the popping only while its moving and at full lock, causes the frame to shift around. replace the shackles at the same time, and that should eliminate just about all the non-factory supplied noises. good things happen when you can take your time in evaluating the issues!

Yeah this time of year that's tough to do. I should have more time in a couple of weeks. The short days and cold weather are making the weekends way to short. Not to mention how fast things are happening at the new job my new boss just bought another shop and told me to finde guys to work for me there. I'm like WHAT??? I don't know we'll see what happens

Labor just became Management. Buckle up! Clickety-clackety.....
