ur like a gift from god dude lol. no i cant get the egr out because the top round half is blocking the main bolt to take it out i tried using the spark plug thing that bends and i still cant get it out and my wrench cant get in there either is there a way to take the plastic top off of it? i feel like breaking the mother ****er lmao, and what a relief that i dont have to take the fuel rail off

the turbo has like a 3/4 inch exhaust type pipe hooked to the back of it too and i cant unbolt it.. is there another spot to unbolt it under the car also the trans fluid dipstick is in the way alot too...

i work in about an hour and a half but before i go il put pictures of my problems

yea i know what u mean about bracket on side of water pump holding the fuel lines, it broke when i had to change my regulator so now its just rubber hose so thats not a problem

Here is a picture of a loose intake. The red lines point to the intake bolts. If you can get to these just leave everything else attached to the intake. The more stuff you try to remove/loosen, the more chances of breaking something or replacing more than needed.

The green lines just point toward the fuel injectors. You can just leave those in there along with the fuel rail connecting them all

thats fantastic brother

how to go about taking the egr off, seeing as its actually one of the bolts to take the intake off, would be awesome cause i am stratching my head on this

PB Blaster and a breaker bar  The EGR valve is subjected to exhaust heat/gases and is more apt to fuse/weld itself together. Even if you break the bolt, you will still be able to remove the EGR Valve and intake and just have the machine shop remove the remained of the bolt

ok so i should just break the bolt ur saying? lol il do it i just wanna be sure. how just break the whole top part off?

also u mean the bolt that holds down the steel base for the egr right not the screws on the steel base. i can get one off but not the back

The plastic top on egr should just pop off anyway. It will most likely break anyway seeing how it old. As far as the little 3/4 tube you are talking about that is the oil return you shouldnt have to remove that once turbo is loose if i remember correct it will simPly pull out of the hole it goes in when you lift turbo up. Becareful not to bend it.

first of all i wanna thank both chevy2480 and ritter cause i wouldnt have got this far without u guys.
heres where i currently am now. i got the turbo off, the shield i had trouble with and the egr bolt.

heres the other exhaust pipe that i think i have to unbolt from under the car right?

where im stuck now is the coil pack, do i just remove the bolt on the water pump and intake or do i have to take all the ones under it off as well, its currently the last bolt stopping me from taking the intake off

THANK YOU GUYS ITS STARTING TO LOOK POSSIBLE
