I have been looking into EFI swaps as well, and was looking into the FI Tech. I have come across some youtube reviews that didn't have the greatest things to say about FI Tech, mainly the "user interface". I will leave it to you to form your own opinion, but wanted to add my .02 cents.
I am of the opinion that I've got to try something out for myself to truly have a solid opinion on it, but the 122 reviews and 4.5/5 overall review on summit does bode well, and it seems like a great deal for under 1000. I have seen some fitech reviews on YT as well, one I recall I think is a kid with a Datsun I think it was, who was complaining about it. Seems to me it was incorrect installation, plus the dude had like a 5x2 air cleaner on it on a dual plane intake, etc. I'm willing to bet money on most of the bad reviews are from improper installation.

I cannot find a Turbo350 with the lockout connector to save my life. Craigslist, FB Marketplace, Parts locator. Even the Junkyards I called said Good luck. Stupid tab. I really don't want to do a swap. Trying to keep costs low.

Really? I can't go 5 feet without tripping over a short shaft chevy TH350, non lockup and all. Where I am, short shaft BOP Th350s are hard to come by. Do what I did, post a want ad on CL for a non burnt smelling clear red fluid chevy 6" shaft Th350 non lockup, with or without converter. I'd opt for without. It'd be cheaper, and you never know what could've crawled in and died. hell, you might get lucky like me and just find a guy in the middle of nowhere with a whole warehouse of transmissions.

Trying find a lockout version with the,3 pin. I can find a vacuum non-lockout all day long.

Oh, that's what you meant. Either way, I'd post a want ad.

same intake as I have 🙂

I got the intake yesterday. It didn't come with any paperwork. Do you have the install guide or could you take pictures of whats routed where? I know the hole left of the Thermostat is the EGR tube hole and to the right of it "should be the heater hose. what about the second hole next the EGR tube and on the front below that. Also the hole behind the carb?

The EGR one is correct. You run a tube from the left exhaust manifold to the intake to feed exhaust gas to the EGR valve. Found out, the lower front left on the face is if you want to run a line from the water pump to the intake. For overheating issues I assume.

So I guess I can cap that one and the one behind the carb. Unless, someone tells me otherwise.
