Has anyone used the ACC "Essex" rather than their "cut pile"?
I've installed the cut pile before but like the look of the Essex better when looking at the samples.

Nope, I'd be curious to see some.

It is just thicker. I guess that is what I put in my pickup and what I recently bought for one of my cars.
Never noticed this picture on their site before. I think they must have just added it.

For the gentlemen who have the sound deadening material under their carpet, is that creating a fitment issue at all? My carpet comes in this week and since I will have the old one out I figured now would be a good time to throw some dynomat down.

Thats shouldn't be an issue since most sound deadening is fairly thin. I haven't got to my interior yet, but I covered my trunk floor in boom mat and you would never know it's under the carpet unless you pulled it up.
Also, most brands have adhesive backing to be used on vertical surfaces as well as roof skins....that will keep it from moving around. Most brands say you only need 50% coverage to be effective so maybe choose the larger flat areas of the floor pan to avoid possible issues. Hope this helps.
