After being a little disappointed with how the transition between the factory floor stamping and my modified bead roll turned out on the passenger’s side, I spent a little more time and attention to this area on the driver’s side. While it was still on the bench, which helped considerably.
It’s still not perfect, but I feel it’s a lot better than the other side.
The biggest issue is that I can’t fit the piece in the bead roller to widen and modify the bead now that it has all the bends in it. So this all had to be done by hand.
Much happier with the end result this time.
