Surely, you can't be serious. I knew exactly what I was doing. Bieber is inexcusable no matter what country of origin.
There, fixed it. I believe both sides of the boarder both agree he's just a duochebag that needs to go away.
Figure this is a good post for this thread versus the F Outta Dodge thread. Put the truck up around 1100hrs and let it drip snow and road grime all over me for the next 12 hours. I missed laying in cold puddles.
10 years after I built this exhaust something finally, properly, broke. And broke it did. Using aluminized in a winter driven vehicle was dumb - what's dumber is using it in the most complicated location in an otherwise stainless steel exhaust.
Choppy choppy.
This was TIG abuse. Scrap stainless welded together with mild rod using 110v.
Slammed it home with much rage, anti-sieze and high temp silicone.
The guillotine clamps are temporary, but necessary. I'll get some proper band clamps in the Spring.
Regardless, it sounds far less obnoxious now.

Got the LED marker and turn signal bulbs in. The transformation is pretty significant. Replaced the rear plate lights too.
Added some (temporary) reflector tape to the housings. Barf.
Fixed the plugged DS washer nozzle too. Only after breaking it and epoxying it back together. Sigh.
I just need the AC belt and tires to show up now.

Picked up the snow tires today... because evidently they don't deliver to our 'hood. Only had to wait 5 days for them to figure that out. Why'd I pay for shipping? Went with 275/65R17 all around so they can be quasi-rotated front to rear. Hopefully they don't look too skinny on the 9.5" wide wheels. Section width is supposed to be 10.8" to 11" so they should have some side wall girth.
Worst case scenario they get repurposed on Natasha's Colorado next year.
Should have them back from the shop tomorrow then that is this thing fully safetied.
On another note when I was swapping the AC belt on this past weekend I was cursing myself up and down thinking I had thrown out my new blower belt during the move. The major piss off being that the "gatorback" style belt which I have come to rely on is now discontinued... and the Gates RPM belts are pricey.
The one on the truck is 6 years old and has stretched pretty much as far as it can go. I need to likely step down from a 1130 to a 1123 length belt.
The good news is I found the replacement belt inside a box on top of a bunch of boxes today. Now I just have to decide to do the work as maintenance or a repair. LOL.

Helped fix that, I think you had a couple typos in there.
Snow tires: ENGAGED!
I had to swap the wheel spacers front to rear to help keep the tires from rubbing on the upper ball joint. It's a bit beefier up front than the other wheels, and a bit narrower out back. A 1/2" spacer in the front is fine, 1" out back is a little too thick. Going to a 1/2" in the rear is ideal. Another unnecessary expense.
