Torque converter

I have a 350 small block and a th350. What torque converter is recommend. Wanting to hit high rpms to pick up a little faster.

We need some specs on the engine/rearend to help select a good converter.
What is the lift/duration/powerband of the cam?
What heads are you using?
Carb or injected?

You should give Hughes, fti or some place along those lines a call for your tc. They can tell you what you need based on the specs like injectedcutty asked.

I don't know engines well enough to shop for one, but I can tell you I'm using a PATC converter to good effect, in case you need more brands to check out.

Thanks for the replies. Hedman headers, mild cam, and carbuereted.

Look at your cam card and it will tell you what stall is recommended and you can push that a little more. You might want to think about changing the rear instead.
