Transmission Dilemma

what about getting the used one for $250 and use that while you rebuild your th350. The $250 and the cost of the rebuild kit should be under $500 and then you have the used one as a backup.....and to sell once you have had a chance to try out your new rebuild.

I had thought of getting a used one to drive the car while I rebuilt the one I have except I don't want to sell either of them. If I go that route I'm gonna keep one as a backup.
 
Yeah once you have a part quit it's always nice to keep a spare
 
I lost track of how many 200cs I killed back in the day in my olds.....I even cracked one or two of them lol

My thinking there is less stress to learn to rebuild the transmission when you have time to rebuild it with the car on the road.....
