turning key to start but nothing

it's pretty simple, disconnect the battery cable and you put a jumper from the battery terminal to the S terminal on the solenoid on your starter. If the batter cable you have is long enough we just cut it and put ends on it to use with the solenoid The purple wire and the two red wires with fusible links need to be extended so we need 10 gauge for the red and 14 for the purple wire.

find he purple wire from the ignition switch, turn your key to start and see if there is any power in the purple wire. If you don't then check the red wire going to the ignition switch. If you have no power then the fusible link is burnt. If there is power on the red and none on the purple when you turn the key to start then the ignition switch is bad. If there is power then trace the purple wire to the starter to make sure it's good.
