UPDATE: HAD my colonoscopy today 1/17/2020...

The @ss doctor knows what he is doing?????

I think they all have a fascination with male goats

Its an outdated procedure inflating your intestines and shoving a hose up your @ss

You guys are alot braver than I am, I don't take any tests and the last time I had blood work done I struck out all the tests for cancer tests that the doc tried to sneak in.

I made four cheese pizza tonight,it's as,if not more delicious than reading this thread while eating it.damn good..

It's almost clear now, just a light yellowish tint to my *ss water...but even if it isn't by morning, my doc's just going to have to deal with it. When it's done, it's done.

3 or 4 more glasses of this crap.

I totally understand people not wanting to do this. Maybe it saves lives, maybe it doesn't. But the last time I had mine done, there was another guy in the recovery area next to me that I overheard his doctor say he had found a mass. He took a biopsy while in there and they'll know something when the results come back but was setting him up for more tests and put him on a 2-year colonoscopy scan right then and there. That made me sit up and take notice. When my doc came in and said no polyps or anything, I sighed a huge relief. I could just imagine getting that bad news. But if that guy is still alive today because of it, I'm sure he's glad he got things checked.

As long as he doesn't come in there and tells me he found a hamster or anything. If I was a doctor I'd probably mess with my patients that way. Make a photoshop of a hamster inside the colon and start asking how it got in there. 🙂

Ive been going for routine colos every 5 years since the mid 80s due to my grandfather having colon cancer. Adding to that Ive had diverticulitis 3 times. Each time put me in the hospital for a few days. Of course a few weeks after the release each time the gastro doc had to go in to see how things were healing.
The preps Ive taken differed over the years but the end results are always the same. One thing Ive learned is to eat light for at least 3 days prior. Jello, small salads, soup. Much easier to clean out. LOL
