Here is the one you need for guages it has the resistor. It is the one I used, works great. He also has the one for the light.
I also went to napa bought theirs IT'S WRONG. It has no resistor.

Well, I went and ordered in the EC82 and the one that I received has no resistor or resistance either :? I have filed a discrepancy with the manufacturer. It really sucks that we have these problems with a part made in the U.S.A.

There's your sign. So should I return this thing and use a resistor harness or use it. Kinda really pissed off

don't feel too bad, I got a water pump that was supposed to be a reverse turn for a serpentine set up and Napa's box was marked wrong and I got the standard pump..I could not figure out why I kept getting airlocks and the car ran warm but never overheated.. :|

ha, I stand corrected ... most Echlin products are still made in the U.S.A.

I know this is an old post but after having the same issues with the EC82 connector for myself and a customer, I belive this will finally be resolved. It took a couple calls to Echlin but the called me back today to say they had the connectors mixed together in a batch. Any Napa that orders from Echlin's Viginia warehouse should now recieve the correct connector with resistor. Hope this helps.
