long time ago my friend and i bought cibie' headlamps with h4 bulbs for our gbodies and swap in 90/100w bulbs. now i just use silverstar headlights. i tried the siverstar bulbs on my 95 caprice, they would last about a year, then once one burned out, the other would go within a week. odd

I had silverstars on my GP for a while, every 3 months they would burn out but they would be replaced at no cost. I got tired of changing them and went with hid. On my last Jeep I used the nighthawks sealed beams and they worked good.

I bought one of these harnesses for my Regal for a future upgrade from Ebay, it took a couple weeks to get but appears to be well made.
I figured regardless if I upgrade the lights or not this set up only uses the factory headlight switch as a trigger so I imagine even factory lights will be brighter.

These are the headlights I am considering buying if I do the H4 conversion.

I'll second the Autopal headlights. They are very nice and look stock. I also upgraded to a relay harness from Summit. Between the two, it made a huge difference. Especially on my car since I've only got the two head lights instead of four.

Thank you for that information. I suppose if I could see one of these wiring kits, I could probably duplicate it.

That kit does appear to be well made.
