As long as there's nitrous involed. Only if the OP is OK with us planning the full death of his 305 (& spending his money for him to have it happen) it's all good.
I mean, it's already dead... at this point if anything you'd be accused of desecration of the corpse of the 305 before it's sent to China to become a washing machine.

I also thought technically we (the us) could pack the block with nitro and then shoot it with the rifle. Again, 'shot 'nitro''us'... I think the common thread is we wanna see a BOOM

Not to mention it's dual exhaust with a single exhaust trans crossmember.

As an engine doctor, I recommend 2 100 shots of nitrous and call me in the morning. Don't forget to roll the camera!
Lol! Engine masters did this to a stock junkyard 305, fun to watch!
It made almost 700hp before it went boom.

Are you sure that wasn't from a boat, that sank, and then refloated, then the engine swapped into a car, and passed off as OK? Because I have never seen an engine that bad that wasn't sank.

That was only the driver side! I didn't even take off the pass head, which I know is worse!

I think we're going with an (stock) LS. My budget cap is $1200 so I'll have to be frugal, but I think it may work.
Though I do have a question, will a truck intake fit under the stock hood?
