Boring but always worth it.More boring stuff
My body man agreed. He was not amused last week working the door on my cribbing and using the head of my pick hammer as I had broke the handle off using it as a pry bar. 😆
I managed to get the damaged caliper replaced only to find that the hard brake line was now leaking at the RF connection to the hose. ( Anybody know what a PITA they are to fox / replace !? #$%^&**!!) So after a few trials, I got it done and went after the leaking trans cooler lines by cutting out the nicked areas and putting in Compression fittings ( Meh, they aren't really under pressure) I went to the Spring Carlisle Swap meet and came home with a few simple items to work on the car

It is never bad! ha ha I missed a few vendors that I had wanted to browse around thru.
Saw a couple of really nice cars ( and a couple of not so nice cars) for sale.
The weather Saturday was perfect, ( Friday not so much)
$12 to get in now and $10 to park, at least some of the vendor's prices haven't inflated too badly
I park cars for the National Guard Armory there every Spring and Fall.
The trans in the granny car is defaulting to second gear. I'm pretty sure it's got a bad shift solenoid. I ordered a kit that comes with both shift solenoids, the torque converter lockup solenoid, and the pressure regulator solenoid. Also includes a new filter, internal wiring harness and gasket. If this doesn't fix it then it looks like I will be learning how to rebuild an automatic transmission.
