A while back I started assembling my not so 357 magnum and found one of the pistons had a 3 mm oil ring and the other seven had 4 mm oil rings
Finding a 4”bore .040 over single set with 3mm oil ring at a reasonable price became more of a challenge then you would think so in the end I opt for this set it a 1996 4.3 V6 ring pack.040 over from Rockauto 24$ now I can drop the last slug in
In the Meantime I started the re-ring on my 6” rod 383 file fit ring going to close the gaps a little.016 and .020 back in 2007 I set them at .018 and .020
Reason for the change lowered the compression From 13.2 to 10.9

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered my 9 inch rear from Quick Performance. I’m getting the housing ends for my 98-02 Camaro brakes and even the 12 mm X 2.5 wheel studs. The last major purchase for this build until I’m ready to start the painting process, all that primers, sealer, paint, clear, reducers, activators, hell at $1,820.00 delivered the rear end my be cheaper

Same as my axle more or less. If you have any questions let me know. It's a good setup.
