Ride tech rear upper R-joints came in today. Now have everything to complete the 8.8 swap. Will modify upper mounts something like I have drawn out. The truss is not shown as it is in the garage at home. B8F38E37-AEBD-465C-B9CC-35B4D2316227.jpeg

I wanted to be able to use stock style arms. I already have a set of upper and lowers from Spohn. They have a nice kit, but wanted the upper mounts lower to the rear. And the price point. I could have done it even cheaper than I did, if I did not splurge for the upper joints.

The new set of 18” American’s for my 88 arrived today. I drive this thing a lot so these will keep my drag radials from wearing out too quick & change up the look of the car from time to time.

Width and tire size please good sir.
My apologies. I should know better haha!

American Racing VN510 Draft wheels
18x8 4.5” bs all the way around.
255/45/18’s rear 27” tall
235/45/18 front 26.3” tall

Being I run usually 275/60/15 Drag radials (skinnies front) , I wasn’t wanting to tuck anything bigger in the front or rear with this setup.

I’ll post pics of the car when I get the front tires and wheels on and the car back on the ground. Having some driveshaft work done at the moment.
