starter, ignition switch, radiator, AC condenser, AC evaporator, drier, and lines (just in time for Fall/Winter! Go, Me!)
Just set up an appointment with the exhaust shop for a new dual exhaust system. No more booger welds and low hanging pipes anymore. Hell yes.
I was quoted for $400ish for a single factory style exhaust with the transverse muffler, and $550 for a dual exhaust with an h-pipe and dumps at the rear bumper. He said my pipes down from the manifolds were reusable, which gave me a bit of a break on price. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of price are you talking for duals?
I went to a local exhaust shop I've been using for a few years. Told them I have full length headers with ball and socket collectors and a double hump crossmember... They were happy with that figured it might help keep the price close to $950...
See thats way more reasonable, I would have jumped on that. $950 as a starting price for a true dual 2.25" exhaust with no crossover out of aluminized pipe with crush bends seems a little high to me.I was quoted for $400ish for a single factory style exhaust with the transverse muffler, and $550 for a dual exhaust with an h-pipe and dumps at the rear bumper. I believe mine will be 1 3/4 inch pipe, but I forgot to ask.See thats way more reasonable, I would have jumped on that. $950 as a starting price for a true dual 2.25" exhaust with no crossover out of aluminized pipe with crush bends seems a little high to me.
When I finished my engine swap 3yrs ago, Meineke did my dual exhaust with x-pipe and MagnaFlow mufflers for a little over $600. They side-exit in front of the rear wheels. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of price are you talking for duals?
