Been looking for an original number A/C system accumulator for the 85 442. Finally found one. The 85-88 accumulator changed significantly from the 84 (2724240), and later they changed it to 2724683 used for 85-88 which was still slightly different, but is totally interchangeable. And SOMETIMES they came painted black, which I assume for GN's but there was no rhyme or reason it seemed. Which the paint is a PITA to remove when you don't need one black. The newer style is slightly more pronounced with the flat spots on the head of it. This one is a bit softer on the edges and slightly domed. Functions the same, but this one looks like the factory one. Most people wouldn't care, but this is going to be as close to factory look as I can get. I'm into it this far with buying parts for it, so what the hell.

Ordered 3 different manuals Haynes, Chilton, and Clymer. Found them on thriftbooks.com for around $4.00 a piece if anyone needs some manuals they are having a sale it seems (never used the site before so we will see how it goes).
