Got my shifter in, as well as a genuine Walbro 255 with install kit. I was sorta skeptical on the pump since it was dirt cheap on Ebay, but it's a real one that came from an authorized Walbro seller...View attachment 112983
Where was that Hurst shifter produced?

Hardened pusrods (sic). 11/32" .080" wall. Fancy laser engraving.

Ordered some transmission parts, couple spare check balls/center and front clutch bolts. New rear servo pin that's a tad longer and a rear servo cover.

Transmission surgery sucks while it's still in the car, just a friendly reminder in case anyone forgot.

Whattya know....China. Honestly though, this version feels more robust and stronger than the one I removed. Several weak points were improved upon.
I only ask because I saw a thread over on CO about Hurst being Chinese, now. Not real happy about it, but what can ya do?

you may want to reconsider that.......

read this along with another 1/2 dozen other complaints about there springs on this site alone

I am currently on a 2” drop spindle but I need to correct the geometry as much as I can. Stiff springs are fine as I use the car for autocross only. Strange that UMI would tell their customers to cut a brand new springs instead of replacing them. I’ll have to reach out to them and see what the deal is. I’m already running their drop springs in the back. What other springs are good, and no I’m not paying $100 each for dse springs.
