Finally closed a deal that’s been 2 years in the making this evening. A set of 4 rare “like new” Olds center caps for my restored N78 442 aluminum wheels:

The chrome is flawless, the Olds logos will need repainted black, but even all the mounting screws on the backside are there and not stripped out. These things are rare like hens teeth, near unobtainium especially in mint condition.

It was a good day.
i like the red.

I bought a new rad, the one I have is too short but it did work. I figured I might was well get the right size since they had a promotion on them. It's the Northern brand that has good reviews but they are chinese. I got it for $199 so they price was right.

I'm off from my normal day to day, but doing a chauffer gig to make extra moola during derby week. The good/bad part is sitting at Churchill Downs today doing squat making $23/hour caused me to get bored. Sooo, I ordered a Walbro 255...

I bought a throw out bearing, my friend who owns a speed shop talked me into it. He has used them on customers cars and has only had one of them with a problem. The Howe is alot cheaper but he has issues with and I have lost an almost new clutch disk when mine blew. He gave a great deal on it with it. $508 and he knew I could not pass that up....:)
