Bought some OEM color match touch up paint because I have a plan for mods, and some DEI cool tape to wrap the starter wiring.

I waited a month and a half for this rusty 50 dollar piece of poop! View attachment 113384 James probably knows were I got it? Intercooled88. That guy has everything for a turbo Buick car, but he is no hurry and does not communicate very well. For those that don't know what it is, it is a turbo heat shield mounting bracket.

I bought the other half of this project.

I got a better deal on this part from a friend. 25 bucks and it came with the bolts. I did also get the bracket cleaned up.

Picked up something kinda special today. Something I ordered about 3 weeks ago and its finally in.

I had some bad rust on my outer wheelhouse on both sides and I finally found a replacement. Made by Goodmark, and ordered through LKQ. It looks to be very good, the curves appear be in the right places and I dont think it will require too much "adjustment". If it works I'm going to get the P-side and install this winter. Fresh new wheelhouse steel on both sides. 😁

Can close up a few things tonight. Didn't realize the cover would have a drain. or that there was a gasket and bolts. Never used a gasket on a diff before, don't think I will start now.

Metro door seals arrived...

I do not understand how Rock Auto can beat the price I got from Amazon.ca Rock Auto even with the $ exchange + border fees was cheaper then Amazon and beat Amazon's scheduled delivery by 5 days...

Hopefully they fit good and you can get the doors to close properly. My doors were flush with the quarters before I installed the Metro door seals(same PN you ordered). Now the doors stick out almost a 1/4" on both sides and it has to be a mix between the door and roof rail seal. Keep us posted Steve.

Bought a good amount of fluids today. It feels good knowing I'm getting closer. I also ordered two AC Delco 02 sensors and a oil catch can.
