Forgot to order the brakes lines when I ordered the rest of the brake parts. So I ordered a Russel's Gbody kit and 2 individual 9" lines for the rear
along with these line brackets for the axle.

Nice!! Rodent proof brake lines, which at 5th or 12th glance, suit a hydroboost system quite nicely.

Are your brakes "upsized"? I ask this because i am piecing together a nice brake package with 13lb rotors to fit in some 15" wheels that came with a 9" diff i bought... that happens to be 58" across (wms to wms once the rotors are slid on). I tried those wheels on a chevelle 10 bolt/ls1 brakes showing plenty of clearance to the calipers.(almost as much clearance as the 16 fbody aluminums that are usually on it, no pics).
Trying for maximum brakes on 15" aluminum. It is 80's themed, except for a throttle body hiding under a gm breather. The "fast" cars really appeal to me, like old factory sleepers.

What'd be swell is a set of middle 80's fin looking aluminums. Fuel system is now in queue too.

Rob.

I’m doing the “baby Brembos” up front and Blazer disk in the rear. I would love to find another hydroboost system. I hate myself for selling the one I was hoarding!

Aircraft paint remover and paint for the calipers. I wanted to do those whole swap this weekend. Unfortunately when I was taking apart the rear calipers and brackets I noticed each side had a tweaked slider pin. Looks like the bent then while trying to change the pads. I ordered new slides for the rear and it won’t be here till Monday.

Not a ****ing thing. Went to Canfield, Oh today (Dave & Ed's swap meet) & couldn't find anything I needed for the Monte. There was a guy there with buckets & rear seats out of a '80 Cutlass & a 3 core brass/copper rad but passed since they were not on my need list. Worse was at 2 P.M. most of the venders were either closing up for the day or calling it a weekend. But a positive, the Jr. Mechanic scored deals like usally.

Not today, a few days ago. Bought an engine to swap in.

Bought a new battery (again). The battery I purchased just a few months ago is going to be moved to my Pinto project car. I think that I messed up the positive side post connection a couple of weeks ago when I removed the fan shroud while installing the new steering pump and AC compressor. The positive terminal keeps coming loose, and I have to open the hood and tighten it up sometimes. The battery is a side and top post, so I can still use it in the Pinto as a top post. The new battery today is also dual top and side post.

As I’ve mentioned before. The previous owner for some reason decided to cut out the wiper motor bracket. I have been on the search for a parts car to cut it out of. A few weeks ago I found a regal being parted out so I finally made it out there today. I was able to cut the bracket off the firewall along with the harness off the bulkhead which was also cut down.
