What did you do at work today?

Slow at the parts store today, So I finished the application to see if the Mrs. and I can get pre-approved for a mortgage. Prayers and happy thoughts would be appreciated. And the house we are looking at has a 2 car garage with a separate detached work shop.

Test driving this little sucker offroad all day long today:

Think it qualified as base vehicle for our expedition camping trucks. Iveco 150E28, 15 ton GVWR, 280hp and lots of fun.
Some of our jobsites could use a small, agile little dumptruck like that.

so the house was a hard no. Garage and work shop were about all that we liked. Only had 100 electrical service to the house, a total of 8 circuit breakers, and some knob and tube wiring. We ran

Thats pretty much what I had when I started working on my 120 year old house. 100 amp service, a panel with 6 or 8 breakers, another with a bunch of screw in glass fuses and a crapload of knob and tube wiring mixed with old romex. We gutted the house to the studs so everything was new after that. Wouldnt want to do it again.

I quit.

Next Friday is my last day.

Yeah my Mom is in the process of a complete rewire, including getting rid of knob and tube. 6 bedroom house built in 1926. cost nearly 20G! and that was the middle bid!
