What did you do at work today?

Wrapped a condom on the truck and off to the painter.
Plumbing in a second 500 gallon tank at a new furniture manufacturing plant. The tank on the left we installed a few months ago, the one on the right I’m tieing in today.
There are two 125hp compressors behind me in those pics, each one will now have its own tank with a balance and bypass pipe and isolation valves. Gotta go back again tomorrow to run the piping out of the top flange over to the filters behind these two massive dryers:
Little different than what you guys see me do in The Skunkworks every night. There’s no real scale in these pictures, but it’s pretty big stuff at 2” diameter pipes.
Why did I get out of autobody and painting cars and decide to do this instead?
Oh yeah right. Because there’s no money in it.

Yes, but now you can come home and paint your own cars better than anyone you could pay. Better yet - no ‘paint jail’!
Finally got some warmer weather for work, it was in the 50s F for a couple nights, that separates the boys from the men.... Perfect time to run around and check some wells.
