I charged the battery, filled it with gas, and got it ready for the predicted snowstorm of BIBLICAL proportions approaching.

Heads are back from the porter. He started with Brodix 221 Track 1's and ended up little over 230cc. Flow rates are over 320 CFM! Should work well with the new motor.

 ive been keepin an eye on that storm myself. Thats gunna suck. 30 + inches in some spots, my god. Anyway, good luck out there. I went and got my clutch kit and my tires today. Monday is callin for a dual exhaust appointment and a set of headers.

I carried my Vortec block and heads to the machine shop to get started on the 383. I lucked out and pulled a vortec from the local pull a part and it is a four bolt main with the mech. fuel pump provision. They are backed up for three weeks. I guess I'll go ahead and tear the vinyl top off and start pulling the body off of the frame.

Over the last few days I have pulled the radiator, Alternator, P.S. pump, carb, fan, Smog system, starter. Disconected the exhaust and removed the flex-plate bolts. Loosened 4 of the 6 Transmission bolts, the 2 middle ones look like they will be fun to get at  .... I have also taken the time to carefully label all the wiring so I can deceiver what goes and what stays. I will replacing the wiring from the fire-wall out along with new connecters/plugs.

Cookie Cutter crate S.B.C. sitting in the garage. Also bought the Carb (670 C.F.M. Holley/Manuall choke) and water pump...

Still have to buy Intake manifold, Alt, Starter, ect.. ect... ect....

Depending on the "Funds" situation, hoping to have this together by mid summer. (I'm buying ALL new parts.)
Translation: It will be done by next spring :wtf:

Between today and tommorrow i am and will be fixing the brakes, cleaning all the oil sludge out, change oil, weilding new floorpans and installing new seals and l pans. im going to be busy.

yesterday i bought all new brake rotors + drums, brake shoes and pads, bearings, radiator hose, window seals, oil, engine flush, oil filters , air filters and many other. and i did this all at a very proud cost of under $300. 😀 not sure how i did considering all new seals cost nearly $400 in themselves.

Not today but yesterday:
Took advantage of a break in the winter weather. Got it uncovered and let the engine run. Put the rag joint intermediate shaft back in. The Jeep shaft made the wheel crooked, but I still need an alignment anyway. Took a very short drive up the road and back. Had to put off anything else as it started to rain. Put the car away and spent some time figuring out how the V6 brackets are going to go on the 350. Not much luck, but some. May have to snoop around on V8Buick. It rained the rest of the night and it has been snowing all day today.

Bought a battery for the Camino, $150!!! OUCH! Got my 268h comp cam kit in, picked up 2 edelbrock 600s 1405&1406 for $40, scored a 7116 vortec intake for $80, cleaned up the vortec heads im using, now just waiting on the magnum rockers n pushrods, gotta get gaskets n bolts then ready to dive in!

Drained the gear oil in the rear and replaced with 75W90 royal purple gear oil and changed the spring in the governer
