i've been thinking the 18" rims that came on my new ride where messing with the transmission..it would seem to lock up in 3rd at to low a speed/rpm if i stayed on the throttle it wasnt too bad but if i let off a bit and gave it throttle again it would vibrate and locamotive the car im sure has hwy gears and stock 307 4brl and 3spd..not sure what transmission.
i threw my 15"s on and there was an improvment even though the 15"s are onle an inch or so less diameter..car looks better with the draglites anyway..no pics as it was pissing down rain, will go for a better test run tommorow. 🙂

Well it wasn't today but I took a few steps backwards with mine last week. Left work early on Thursday to get loaded up because me and a few other guys were leaving early Friday morning to go to a race. Well, the short version goes like this, as I get in the car to pull it from the shop to the house to wash it off, along with under the hood, my 9 year old son hops in the other side because he wants to ride to. Well being the great dad that I am, I decide to take it down the road first. The hood had been up in the shop and I simply let it down because I was only going from the shop to the driveway by the house.
So now I get the pleasure of replacing the busted windshield, new hood, hinges, and hopefully being able to fix the scratched up paint on the fender and roof. And we won't even discuss the dents in the roof.
The whole thing just really makes me sick!!

I've been de-cluttering the car......Half way done removing all the side molding. Gonna remove the pinstripes. Yesterday I took everything off the front bumper. Ripped off the plastic or rubber molding. Took off the bumperettes or push things. And took out the bumper lights.
I just wanted to see what the bumper would look like alot smoother. Soon, I'll either take the bumper somewhere to get all the bolt holes filled and painted aluminum-color....or I will get one of those smooth chrome Malibu bumpers (if it will fit).
I will be putting turn signal/parking lamps behind the grille. But I gotta find some lights smaller than the huge stock lights, first.

Installed a Jeep steering shaft tonight in my 84' Cutlass. Picked it up from Timo22 and it was very easy and way better then the stock shaft.
