Busy day today! Started off the day early installing a new coolant reservoir. Once that was done we went to the car show at the Forked River Presbyterian Church, it was a fun time had by all. After that we took the 442 over to the Municipal Building to support our veterans as the Run for the Fallen came through to put down a marker for one of our communities own. Now it's time to chill out!

Uh, yeah, thank's Jack. It's all I can do to get it primered. The more I look , the more defects I see. Luckily this primer fills well and sands easily. I know it won't be as sharp looking as your's, but it's a fishing car.

Just breakin' your chops a little, Mark. I certainly didn't mean any ill will. I had my car painted by Maaco almost 20 yrs ago. It looked good for quite a few years until the paint started peeling, etc. I did miss some dents and dings in the interim, but I was happy to see it all in one color.
I drove around a long time with multiple primer spots and such. Even when I had the whole car in grey primer, it looked a hell of a lot better. At the time I blended in with the local hicks and rednecks
My car had also been used as a daily driver and schlepper.

Got an autometer pro-comp memory tach at englishtown for 35 bucks and just put it in. Factory tach was off by a little over 500 rpm's

I changed the headlite switch which I have been meaning to change for over a year. It's not a hard job but I am extremely proud of myself on two counts.

1. I maintained by status of a procrastinator
2. I bought the part over a year ago and never lost it

Made a duplicate clutch pedal for going with a hydraulic clutch set-up. One on the left in pix is a modified stock pedal and the one on the right is a pedal made by GSI interiors.

Just ordered a few more odds and ends off of Ebay to cross off the restoration list. Should be delivered before the weekend so I can get them installed. I'm going to try a little more paint work this week too after work.
