removed the driveshaft, crossmember, transmission, bellhousing, cluthch, flywheel, starter and raised the engine a few inches so I could remove the oil pan.....and now I'm having a beer...tomorrow new oil pan and flywheel, the flywheel I have gives me a slight vibration at about 3,000 rpm. I've changed the clutch and then the transmission and the vibration was still there....and then reinstall the rest of what I removed...and then have another beer or 2.. 😀

Cleaned my windows (exterior) with vinegar and some newspaper to get rid of water spots. Works great.
With the limo tint, every little one stands out.

Man this must be the biggest ongoing thread ever! Well I finally got time to wire up my lockup converter for the TH200-4R and it works great! Going 70 mph at 2000rpm is good thing! It feels weird when it's in lockup i've never had one before you can definitely feel it locking up but don't really feel it locking out but it does it all by vacuum so it's automatic.
check out the video. http://s352.photobucket.com/user/mozart ... 4.mp4.html

Made the 220 mile round trip to Musclepalooza on Sunday without issue. As a bonus, got an acceptable 23 mpg! Yesterday was supposed to be a trip to Patriot Place but the clutch decided to quit working while backing out of my driveway. 😢
A set of hydraulics should get it going again but I'm relieved that I didn't get halfway somewhere before the clutch gave up.

I had to order a new oil pump with a pick up and shaft today. My new pan with the windage tray won't fit with the stock pick up on the BB M77 pump. I figured it would be a quick trip to the store to pick up a Moroso 24320 pick up and have my car back on it's wheels today. Turns out there is no 24320 pick up in Canada ... :wtf: ...so now that I won't have to wait for a part I ordered an M55 with a pick up to fit my pan. I also had to order the intermediate shaft since the BB pump and SB pump have different length rods and wait for Monday til they come in. Canada is the worst place for parts for cars. I like using a BB pump cause it puts out about 10% more volume ... 🙁

Drained the back doors of my Cutlass by drilling holes at the bottom of the doors.

There was at least a pint of water in each door...

Anyone else experienced this? 🙂

The doors have 2 drain holes at the bottom of the door. The drain holes were probably clogged and needed to be cleaned out. There is also a drain hole just behind the back wheel opening on each side for the trunk...

I started on the touch ups I need on the body since I have to wait for my parts on Monday ...
