Workin on my block. Got er all honed out, cleaned up, gonna clean up the crank a bit, slap in some bearings, and get on to re-ringing the pistons. Shortblock should be done tonight. Still aiming to have the car running by Monday and drive it to my grandma's on Thanksgiving.

If you want to buy a set of GTA wheels, I have a set with tires I will sell you.

Took my daughter to gymnastics last night, in the Cutlass. View attachment 77021
The Cutlass looks like a matchbox next to that Armada. I remember driving a bunch of Irish kids around Hayannis, MA in 1986 - they thought the Malibu wagon was a huge luxury car!

:wtf:Ran out of gas yesterday ( faulty fuel gauge ). Got in to work and checked ground and noticed a small puddle of fuel and I noticed it was wet at the brass fitting. Tried to tighten it and the $&@$&@! fitting started stripping Boy I tell you the simplest of tasks turn into a job

Got a buncha heavy boxes in the mail today. Stay tuned. >:]

finally got around to putting the t-top seals and 1/4 windows back in after the roof repair.... what a PITA.......

no matter how well you bag & tag hardware, you never seem to have all of it (if you can even find said bags) when you go to put it back together....

I had a new aftermarket gauge and changed the sender twice for false readings on the gauge, it turned out to be the pink aluminum wire that was the problem. I bypassed the aluminum wire with a 14 gauge copper strand wire from the tank connector to the gauge and no more issues.
