Installed the new urethane mounts.
were you able to use the original motor mount position on the left side? did you have to drill new holes for the right mount, or were there factory holes to use?

I got my NPT to -6an elbow installed, valley cover torqued, and knock sensors and harness installed. Minus the valve covers which need more prep before paint, the LS long block is done 🙂.

pulled the clamshells out (why would GM make it sooooo difficult to access motor mount bolts?)

You could always do what the butcher that previously owned my coupe did, and make your own holes

This is why my OCD self wants to change the frame....now I'm thinking maybe reshape and weld some plate in the holes

Also got a laugh out of the grade 8 engine mount through-bolts, but no bolt where the steering shaft attaches to the box:doh:

Nice. Throw a little Form-A-Gasket 2 or some silicone around those knock sensor plugs... water gets in there and screws crap up good.

Other than farting around with the not-a-4.8L last night, nothing yet.

But, I did take the TBSS out for an E-test - and got my first taste of boost in 14 months. That is a completely unacceptable duration.
