My wife's brother stopped by to help unload the 4L80 from the trunk of my Mazda lol!
I then used the kids trusty ole Radio Flyer to shuttle it to the shed, 👍!!!

The last time I dialed in the Qjet was before I had my electric choke working, so I had to redial it in. I got lazy and never did until today. Freakin 19" of vacuum. That's nuts. The car has a healthy (for a Buick) cam, .446/.468 276/281dur 112LSA. It idles smooth as freakin glass. Once I get exhaust on it, no one will be able to tell it's modded. And I can go through drive thrus without shutting it off. 😀

Yes, the wiring is a mess. I need some loom. I ripped off all the old oil soaked brittle crap while I was tracing the choke wires. One of those piddly things that needs attention. Other than dicking with the idle mixture screws, I also fixed the curb idle screw spring. I guess over the years it got mashed and lost it's springiness, so I attached two small zipties, one to either end, and pulled just enough to stretch it out about .5 more times it's original size. Much more tension on the screw now.

7 buxx a bulb????? How many did you use?

So I just discovered something that I think will be helpful for people looking to upgrade their steering shafts. So I pulled 2 steering shafts from 2 95 Jeep Grand Cherokees, they were right next to eachother so I grabbed both. One was a V8 the Other was the I6, and the steering shafts are different. At first glance they look pretty much identical, but the opening for the steering wheel end is a smaller size on the shaft from the 6cyl, vs the 8cyl.
