What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Removed dash bezel- removed rear defogger switch- oiled switch with WD-40- rocked switch many times- replaced switch- works great again.

Got the new thermostat housing and gasket on. No leaks during the warm up and cool down, but I'll give it another couple cycles before I deem it "fixed". Installed it dry this time, see how that goes.
Also in preparation for this "storm" that is supposedly supposed to happen, I went out and bought wiper blades, "winterized" my car, and fixed the damn stripped wiper arm for good. No matter what I did the damn passenger arm wouldn't stay on. I think the little rectangle nub thing is rounded off on the underside because it would just pop off. I drilled and tapped it for a small machine screw. That fixed that problem right quick. I've always hated how the arms are attatched on these cars, I'd much rather there be a roll pin or a set screw or two instead of that dumbass clip.

55* and sunny today. uncovered the Cutlass and went for a ride!!!!!

Seen some deer too.

Came home and got the dash pieces together to reinstall, as soon as I figure out how to fix or replace the dash surround.

When you figure out the dash repair, please report your results. Mine is damaged in the same spot, and is literally the only issue on my whole dash!!

Reactions: DRIVEN and Rktpwrd
Yesterday got it up in the air and sprayed the whole underside with oil via my undercoating gun. Let is sit outside overnight to drip the excess onto the gravel in the shop lot. Fired it up today and let it run for about 20 minutes to burn the oil off the exhaust and put it in the garage.

Winter can come with a vengeance now. I'm all set.
