What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Still f*ckin leaks. Up next, RTV + new thermostat housing.
You can always permanently fix it with one of these...

But if you stick with what you got, MAYBE your mounting holes are through-holes for the T-stat housing bolts? If you don't seal the threads with some sort of non-hardening sealer, you could get seep leaks that's hard to track down. Or if there's defects in the sealing surfaces along the block as others have stated. I know it shouldn't go this way, but did you try doubling up the T-stat housing gasket?

holes are blind. What I just don't understand is why it just suddenly started doing this. it was fine for the longest time. Then one day it starts leaking.

Hey, that sounds like me...… 🙂

Are you SURE they're blind now and not cracked/corroded through? I don't know the makeup of your intake, but I can certainly understand your frustration. There's like, no moving parts here, so it's a head-scratcher for sure.

Boltholes are blind, as far as I can tell the backsides are crack free.

Seal them anyway; what do you have to lose at this point?
More coolant. Too soon?

Hard to tell from the pic but the top hole surely looks dry as a bone and it seems there's a lot of meat behind them, so I wouldn't lean on the bolt hole leak theory from the pic alone. Could be shadows or camera angles but I see what appears to be pitting at around the 4 o'clock position in the pic. Corrosion is what normally causes those "hasn't leaked for 10 years and now...." kind of situations. If replacing gasket, housing, and hoses hasn't helped at all, then it likely would be the mounting surface itself. That's where I'd go next.

Came home and got the dash pieces together to reinstall, as soon as I figure out how to fix or replace the dash surround.

I may have missed this, but how did you separate the "Special Edition" rocket without screwing something up? That looks pretty neat.
