What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Picked up my 2 new M/T ET Streets and 2 M/T Sportsman tires for the front.

Dropped the rear end out. It's on it's way to Collings Differential for a gear swap. Did some more work on the engine, it should be in by next weekend.

Some of you may have seen my thread where I bought an 85 Salon yesterday (wow....we have 2 Salon now!). One issue with the car is a previous owner installed some rain visors on the windows.....they got took off first thing this morning at 8 am. I also put the GTAs on it, and looks great. My father in law and I also took the radiator off (previous owner robbed the v8 radiator to try and use on another project, and installed a new v6 radiator on it), and we put on the original v8 radiator he had robbed, since he included it in the sale because it wouldn't cool his 500 horse 383.....pretty proud of what I got done early this morning.

Anyone need a v6 radiator for a gbody, let me know. I'll let it go for a pretty decent price.

I cleaned the leaves off it. :/
I need to wash it, fill it up with gas, and cover it for the season soon. 🙁

Checked and upgraded the antifreeze (to -35C) and then washed the car. Turned off the master battery switch, hooked up the trickle charger and put the new cover on it, for the winter.

This year I am keeping the LCD faceplate, for the Pioneer, in the house. Don't want to have to buy another one.

I swapped headlight switches. With the original switch, the gauges don't light up when headlight switch is on, and the radio display goes off when headlights are turned on. Thought the common denominator would be light switch. Popped the spare one in, no change. Took gauge cluster out, and had 4 bulbs blown. Put new ones in, still no change. I'll have to research it more, I guess.

Whats going on fellas..so just a little update on elko...got my jeep shaft and installed it today..was going to get it chrome..but with all the dust i get in that area i left it black..the paint on it looks real good and shiney...so i test drove and YES IT DOES MAKE A difference.....handles real good....still need to do bed liner...building a 350 engine...so all my time is on engine..but did take elko for a ride today...felt great!!
