These 6 1/2 JBL components are just pretty impressive though . . .

Plus, they look like they were made for these Gbody speaker door panels, or vice versa? 🤔

Dropped off a crank I bought for a polishing.
Kinky, I know.
Hope to have the blue (old) motor as a short block by year's end. Also bought some arp rod bolts from TA. Stock are fine for 450hp... But after it spun #7 I'm hesitant to reuse them. Rods will be reconned as well.

Those are the single speaker door panels, right Garth?
Y'all got me thinking about adding more boom boom now. I'm def not adding subs, but some 6-1/2's in the doors would help.

Yup, so PO’d at Gbodyparts I am leery to recommend anything from them but these do fit the bill. Had problems with all 3 orders. You can’t call them and, after ignoring your emails for a month, you get an ALL CAPS email for being such a PITA customer. Nerve of some people expecting their orders to be right?

Cool, Dixie Resto has the same pair and I feel completely good about ordering from them as I've done before. I'll keep these on my list in case I go this route. Just need to snap pics of the stickers and list them to sell to help offset the cost. They're in perfect shape for being original.

I finally had some ambition and threw the other seat in the car.

I also pulled the coil out of my dizzy and tested it. No good, and the other 2 spares I had.. Well lets just say they must have been "spare" for a reason. I just happened to forget that reason 15 years ago. I must say I am pretty disappointed with that Summit blueprinted HEI distributor Coil was toast in 4 months? Come on...

So I did what anyone would do when they run out of parts and don't feeling like going to the parts store.

BBQ'd up some Pork chops and had a brew.
