Got the cover finished up, started relocating all the wires to the jumper location with major hassles as always

Picked up my crank from the machine shop. Same as the other, .010/.010. I was smart and ordered 10/10 bearings before hand. Now all that needs to happen is some minor cleanup, and jam it together. Got a 3 day weekend coming up, along with christmas break, should be done by year's end.

Did a compression test. 145-150 across the board ! Yippie 85 Grand Prix 305..... perfect for my 144 Blower plans!

Hey guys, attempting to put the hood release cable back in it's original home but have a couple questions. Anybody know what size thread cutting nuts fasten the bracket? What does the firewall grommet look like?

Update, figured out the fasteners, but no bueno on the grommet...around somewhere. I'll try to make a junkyard trip and snatch one up. I got the letters freshened up since they were barely colored at all.

Finally took the time to put on the chrome alternator an euro front clip today it’s cold out still have lots mote chrome an upgraded parts to add to “coffee talk” but that will come in due time
