It looks much worse than it really is. Once the efi wiring and a couple gauge wires are attached to the dash harness it'll look way better.

Did you put a MetriPak connector on the gauge cluster? It looks much worse than it really is. Once the efi wiring and a couple gauge wires are attached to the dash harness it'll look way better.
Nope. I don't have the tools to build connectors like that. Also have never pinned a connector. Basically all spades with some bullets for the indicator lights all tied up and organized. Not as efficient as the connector.Did you put a MetriPak connector on the gauge cluster?
Pretty sure I tossed the factory stuff along time ago, because young and dumb. Lightbulb moment though, my dad has all the tools to build them. I'll see if he can go a couple days without them. I'll try to find connectors locally since I wanna have the dash installed by end of week if possible.I got my stuff here: https://crimpsupply.com/packard-delphi/metri-pack
I repurposed the factory connectors from my donor vehicle, but you can buy whatever connector you need. I'd leave a few blanks for expansion. Just make sure everything you're working with matches (Packard connectors come in pull-to-seat and push-to-seat). The company in the link has assortment kits of pins and seals, so that's what I got. Also, a crimper and removal tool. It makes a really neat install.
I might do that if I get off early enough today. My dad does have the proper crimp pliers if needed to go that route. That's what I was getting at: go to the boneyard and whack some wires- you only need the plug casing.

Any recommendations on what vehicles to look at that might have larger connectors? I'm thinking anything post 95 should be sufficient. That's what I was getting at: go to the boneyard and whack some wires- you only need the plug casing.
That sounds about right; might want to shoot for the early to mid 2000s. I don't know off the top of my head. The 02 Firebird I used had some good ones; I can't remember where they were in the harness, though. Sorry.Any recommendations on what vehicles to look at that might have larger connectors?
