I got my motor painted and dropped back in. Gotta get a few odds on ends before assembling it all back together.

Old wiring harness and computer out, just a few more wires to solder and the Megasquirt goes in. IMG_20190310_195848.jpg

I am anxious to see how you like it. I have a Holley Sniper, so I have thought about going that route. I want the interior to look factory though.

Being a Sniper guy myself I wanted to do the in-between, went VHX and want to put the Sniper in place of the A/C vent once I do the new dash panel.

I can't get it to do the firmware update yet, but being able to totally adjust the displays and scroll live, between 10 different displays is pretty sweet. It's a big win for being able to display whatever you want on multiple gauge setups plus data logging and hot swapping of saved tunes. The Regal cluster bezel only covers the top and bottom by 1/4 inch and doesn't really effect the display for regular use. Being able to work in tandom with the 3.5" display opens up a few options too as well as being able to adjust the tune on the fly with the displays. I think it's going to be a winner.

Sounds like it will do everything my handheld will pluss having gauges to monitor everything you want. Hopefully it is not finicky like the handheld. The handheld does not like heat. It goes goofy sometimes, but does not affect the ECM. Can you view the data logs and the fuel and timing tables from the monitor? If you can? That would make it worth it to me. Can you edit them?
