Got an idea from a Facebook group to make clear tail lights. Figured out the OE ones are bonded plastic-to-plastic instead of using butyl sealant like the 87-88 lights. So the dremel got to work today

I’m going to use a molding technique used in scale modeling, using epoxy resin to cast the lenses. It’ll set me back a pretty penny to do once, but if I get the molds right I can most likely make these at any point in the future.

Puzzled on the coupe fuel issue. Opened carb again, verified float setting, removed needle clip, checked seat for windows(no windows). Guess it's going to be an electric pump. Or take it apart and sell as a roller (not that anybody has any money around here). either/or at this point, I'm sick of the damn car. Shoulda spent the time on the wagon, which starts and runs fine...just won't go forward.
