Ordered a '79 Cutlass assembly manual cause it's the only one out there for our cars. When I get it I might need some of you Olds guys to translate some stuff into english.
and there it is.. 😛i pulled the o-ring adapters and hoses from the steering box,brake cleaned it all down.one of the rings was a stretched and had a flat spot(??)i replaced them both and ran it for a while.no leaks so far.maybe that was it who knows.there's a h20 ban here so I'll go to work tomorrow and jack it up and clean the underside of it all.gonna try some foamy see how it works.

cough wagon project cough coughPuzzled on the coupe fuel issue. Opened carb again, verified float setting, removed needle clip, checked seat for windows(no windows). Guess it's going to be an electric pump. Or take it apart and sell as a roller (not that anybody has any money around here). either/or at this point, I'm sick of the damn car. Shoulda spent the time on the wagon, which starts and runs fine...just won't go forward.
