What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2020]

Okay when I get this body work done or close too, I am going to check the Fusible Link and the relay, At the same time though the other two lower settings do not work so I do feel I am going to have to replace the resistor either way, but certainly I will be checking out the Fusible Link, don't need the car catching on fire. . .
If nothing works, the blower motor might be bad. The red feed to the blower motor relay doesn't necessarily need to be on the starter. It can go to the battery or alternator charge stud.

Just as you replied I was looking at prices for the Blower Motor on Rockauto just in case it is just the motor itself is going out. Still going to have to thoroughly check all the wiring just in case too. Thanks for the Info.

Earlier today I registered the Cutlass for the biggest car show in the country! Only able to go Saturday, but I've been working my butt off for years to take it, weather looks great!

The trunk is finally clean of rust for the most part and is in epoxy primer, need to get mixing tips for the Fusor seam sealer and get some laid in the seams.

Took a page out of pontiangp’s book and threw a Ford starter solenoid in, while beginning to realize I’m likely going to need a busbar instead of a stud.

Got the interior stripped out, rubber matting removed. After inspecting the Swiss cheese I found I’m torn between patching or total floor replacement.

Thats alot of thin metal and holes. If you replace the whole floor its a pretty big job. If you try patching it you'll be fighting what will amount to a losing battle. There will be rust in every seam of that floor. The seat belt mounts are probably unsafe because of rust. If your gonna put time, effort and money into it and plan on keeping it. Id try to make sure im not doing it again in a few years.

Welding. I am not a good welder. Nor will I think I'll ever be. But therr is less rust on the car when I started so that's good.
Had to make a patch for the patch. Don't let your drunk friends cut patches. It's the "7" shaped piece in the corner. I jacked the corner of the car with it and it holds so far. Still some holes to fill. It will be on the road again hopefully by the end of this month.

those welds made me crave

keep working at it and watch some welding videos, you'll catch on with practice to lay a nice bead. Get yourself some metal to practice on and it won't take you long to figure it out.....🙂
