This is what you need to make a copy of to fix things.
It's been a gamble on ordering anything from them but making them yourself would be quicker.
Thanks for the advice. Those are pretty cheap and I should have just bought those. I did the same thing with some sheet metal I had laying around. Pics to come later. They will be welded in and I cut out the old rotten cracked metal.

At dark30 this morning, I was ready to head down to my local coffee shop for a breakfast sandwich and cup of coffee. Hopped into the Caballero, started warming it up, turned on the headlights, and only had parking lights. Flipped the switch for highbeam, they work OK, so I am wondering if I loosened a wire while I was down under the dash replacing the parking brake bracket assembly. I guess I know what I will be doing today, instead of winterizing the garden.

Got to pull a part as they opened, snatched the tank straps from the car I cut the floor from. Sure enough, they're bent different than the new ones. Thank you repop junk! Their painted and drying now, not sure if I'll get them on today or not.

Got the headlights working, it was just a loose connection. I didn't mention earlier that the column mount high beam switch has not worked for years, so I had disconnected the plug and hooked a jumper to the low beam side and a toggle switch to the high beam side. It has been in this condition for more than 10 years now.
While I was out messing with the lights, I decided to do a winter adjustment on the electric choke.

Who did you get the straps from? I have a set from OPGI & wondering if they are from the same vendor.
