that's weird isn't it?went through 2,one from napa.one from auto zone.one per summer.was able to get one from the dealer,had it cerakoted.it's still working.I've also got the steel can from an 80's wagoneer sprayed and waiting for service.My new Dorman vac ball imploded during cam break-in in the coupe this summer....going to try to find a decent GM one I think.

Pretty much up for winter so gotta run it every few days to keep fuel from leaving deposits again.
I've got ethanoldisconnect the fuel line at the carb and plug the line, start the engine and let it run completely out of fuel so the bowl is empty and you wont have any issues with deposits..... I ran my GP on pure gas, no ethanol, and that left no deposits in the carb in the spring

Ain't snowing yet so I may just run it empty and fill with pure gas then do that thing you said.
