Wow Scott, that cars looks great from the underside of the trunk! ;/
Thanks buddy, the whole underside is pretty much detailed out like the topside.
At the show I won the first award at, one of the judging criteria was undercarriage, but I watched them skip my car. I caught the attention of a judge and said, just be fair and equal, he looked under it and his eyes lit up! His words were "oh wow, honestly didn't expect a Cutlass like this to look like that under there"
So yeah, it will likely never get the same amount of respect, but I know it's done and more so finished for rust prevention.

Took the car out today in the colder temps and noticed that the heater motor was pretty ineffective. I finally made my foam box plug out of 3/4" sound deadening foam that I had bought for my '57 F100 cab. It ain't perfect but it fixed the issue.

Tuned the MC to start at 30 degrees (was waaay too rich) yesterday - then confirmed it ran ok by 3-4 donuts to attempt to knock off the old tires.

The newest member, ‘86 Regal, got an Energy suspension body mount kit installed.

That was my intent today, but never made it to a basic warm calibration. High idle RPM and choke duration are adjustable for me, but I wonder about a max choke start point for the old qjet? I suspect that may involve bending the rod to the choke flap to establish initial choke point?

It was last week but I moved the Cutlass to it’s temporary storage till we move to N.C. I need to get rid of a bunch a stuff to make space. I am going to daily the cutlass for a week or so. I am going to pull the motor on the Escalade to fix the rear main seal. It have to add about a quart a couple days.
