I installed new led head lights and a CS144 alternator on my white car today. What a difference in vision. Real bright as well

Well kind of a Bummer, but in a way it's a good thing too (At least for saving for the Bill). The guy I am supposed to buy the SBC 350 had to cancel tomorrow's delivery due to snow in Gillette, I hate Winter Travel myself so I would rather he be safe, hopefully the Weather next weekend won't be as bad.

Still awaiting, The SBC 350 will happen soon. Engine Knock is getting worse. My Paint job is holding up well in this Winter weather.

Waited all this time for the wrong brake backing plates pissed me off enough to just clean the old ones shoes and wheel cylinders on
The 7.5 rear drums are the same size they just don’t fit over the axle flange drum is minutes away from a grind to fit Application
Hope to find a metric stud that will fit stock axle don’t want to change out my lug nuts

I gave my wagon a wash and then drove it out to my sister's house where it will sit for the rest of the winter while I drive my "new to me" GMC truck. It gets to share space with its cousin, my sister's 87 MCSS.

Not today but yesterday I completed my tailight harness rebuild. All the factory splices had major corrosion and the corrosion had wicked way up the wires. It's hard to believe the factory splices that just had tape around them lasted as long as they did.

Were they still using aluminum wiring on the taillamps in the 84s?

F -- ooking thing still will not start. I've had it on a smart trickle charger all week. Battery is less than a year old and will light the interior, and the radio comes on but only clicks the starter like a low CCA battery. Really wanted to fire the pig up and rub some rubber off the tires LOL Guess I will do the proper thing and pull the battery and bring it to work to charge and test it. I really figured it would be the 10 year old alternator was the problem. For now it resides under 6" inches of melting snow until I sort it out. I know it may be weird but I refuse to even put the cover on it until I know it's a working vehicle again.
