Installed a remote keyless entry from a Lumina. I bought a remote from eBay but it wouldn’t take to programming. I put it into programming mode and the trunk release and door locks cycled so I know I did it right. I’ll order a new fob and hope for the best. Mounted with Velcro like the stock application. Fit nicely on AC box right behind glove box.

Painted the coil brackets black along with dipstick handle to help them hide better. It's silly, but bright yellow is out of place lol. Everything is back together minus the covers.

Burned the midnight oil to get most of the way there, still have to run the trigger wire in through the firewall since my buddy doesn't want to tap my halo's for the ignition signal then connect the 2 wires to the Sniper harness. Really looking forward to getting the old girl back out there

I changed the oil on the 2+2 this weekend and I put a ton of black schmoo on the yellow dipstick handle and thought "Huh, well I guess it was clean for like a year, meh."

And then I see you painting it black, attacking my feelings lol.

What year Lumina, random 90's?

I pulled it from a '97 Lumina but I believe 97-01 or something like that is the year that youll want. Monte Carlos come with the same module. I wasnt able to get into the trunk area so I pulled as much harness as I could through the package tray where it was located and used that. I tapped into the necessary wires at the kick panel near the lock relay and didnt need to extend any wires thankfully.
