Luckily my buddy is doing all the thinking, he is very smart and super OCD with stuff so its overchecking but to me that is fine. The problem we found this weekend was part of his going above and beyond luckily, he wanted to physically check oil capacity in the pan and used water. After dumping the first quart in it started pouring the water right back out, failed weld on the bottom of the pan. Good thing they still have a quality check these days....
QC these days means controlling how much quality you put in, can't be putting in too much because that means lost time and profit.

Who’s the pan from?

Who’s the pan from?
Its the Summit brand, which is usually one of the big companies just without the name. The replacement has a nice big made in the USA on the bottom.....

got mine back from the shop today after sending it in to clean up from all previous work done. motor was put in in 2021 it came out with qjet leakin gas (didn't find out bout that till last nov 2022 and thought that was fixed then when exhaust was done. the carb was a jet chip performance fresh rebuild) that was finally fixed with epoxy, retuned & secondaries loosened up, also highest blower motor speed was fixed (hadn't worked since engine swap, bad ground), last nov also had new door seals put in and psgr side window was too weak to go all way up and motor was replaced and this past june temp senor/ connecting wire were replaced after quit working last nov during exhaust install gauge was reading 220 but a check at the sensor said 206-210 which is normal so 220 on gauge nothing to worry bout. also had reverse light out for yr replaced & lugnuts retorqued cuz of new wheels.

It really depends on where the oil leak is. Valve covers are relatively simple to change. Something you may be able to do. The oil pan gets a bit more difficult. And the rear main seal turns into a project. De-gease your engine and try to find out where it's leaking from.

Got a lot more done with the motor, would have been wrapped up if I wasn't an idiot and forgot the dipstick
