What did you do to your G-Body today 2024

Round 2: picked a new bottle of paint stripper.
The 1 had was definitely a little past its date of use. 🫠
I wish the OG Aircraft paint remover was available.

The fresh bottle worked rather well. The stuff I had was sitting on the shelf for probably 3 years 😅

Man, those just aren't giving up the fight, huh? Have you tried good old fashioned brake fluid? I've had mixed results with that aircraft stripper as well as the aerosol version, and both required way too much scrubbing for "meh" results. I was recently watching Detroit Muscle reruns on Power Nation and they used brake fluid to strip a Mustang grille prior to paint. (season 6 episode 19)

The fresh bottle did the trick.
the first round I tried paint thinner, acetone, the 3 year old aircraft paint remover and brake fluid. I used to use brake fluid on model cars probably 20 years ago, always worked perfect and wouldn't destroy the plastic.
Hoping to prep the stuff tomorrow and paint them as soon as the rear glass trim comes in.

Fabbed up some mew muffler hangers since the exhaust guy's version sucked. Also replaced a couple missing rear bumper shock bolts and tightened everything up. Guess that leaves very little that I haven't had to revisit since purchase. Guess rear axle will be next, whines on drive, and too much gear anyway

Reminder to self: only buy original cars, too many hackers out there
Wines can( sometimes) be tightened out for the curious

On the way home from my buddy's messing with a v6 raptor on the road. I guess I'm faster lol
That or he couldn't drive worth a damn.
