What did you do to your g-body today 2025 Edition!

Well it took more than a day but so far this year I have changed the whole suspension to a UMI stage II 1” lowered kit, rebuilt all of the brakes, new brake & fuel lines, master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve, power steering pump & hoses, new 150 amp alternator and cables, new fuel pump control relay, pulled the intake & installed a new turkey tray, new AVS2 carb, throttle cable, cleaned up a bunch of wiring and the most exciting part, the relay that keeps the stereo on when the key is off until you open the door! Next project is A/C.

Hell yeah, dude! That's a good chunk of work to accomplish and it all pairs together very well. I'm a bit envious.

Sweet_Johnny Thanks, it was all long overdue. It’s my son’s car & we couldn’t get it tuned and I suspected vacuum leaks in the intake. Looked like whoever put the intake gasket on ran out of sealant 1/2 way through. I’m really impressed with the AVS2. It was always really hard to start when cold. I didn’t tune it all and now it fires up right away without touching the accelerator pedal.

Slow night at work tonight so I am working on fixing a mistake I made many many years ago! In an effort to have kick panel speakers years ago with no money and very little tools back then I simply cut a hole in the panel and screwed some 6.5 speakers to them. Over the years it has been bothering me more and more so today I started to try and make it a little bit better! Still have not made up my mind if I will put speakers back in or not. And if so which size, still debating. You guys let me know what you think of my inserts I made to cover the holes that where cut into the panels.IMG_8622.jpegIMG_8624.jpegIMG_8623.jpeg

Also still debating whether to paint or cover with some black vinyl I have?

Yes that is more than likely what will happen
