If you still want speakers there and don't wish to pay exorbitant prices for G Body specific pods, something like these can work with a touch of customization ('93-'22 Harley pods):

That does look like it could be easy to make work but I think I have made up my mind no speakers down there.
Can't say as I blame you. What you've done looks very good, and will look even better if you paint/ cover it as proposed.
Yes sir thanks! The plan now is to paint the panels and cover the inserts with the same marble wrap as the rest of the interior trim. You can see it on the door panel trim in the pictures
One more thing because I know you probably know! If you notice in the pictures I am missing the covers on the pull straps on the doors. Never have had any where can I get them from and which ones do I need? I have seen posts in the past state there are more than one style
That's actually something I haven't gotten into, and my knowledge on them ends at knowing there's multiple styles. I have no clue where to buy them or which car came with what. Sorry man, wish I could help.
I'd be willing to bet that another member has just what you need though.

Dreary day today, cold as well. Went out in the garage around 4 and changed the oil and filter in the Olds. Had it out the other night and it’s running well with the minor carb and timing adjustments we made last week. Hopefully get a good evening this week to get it out again. 🤞
