With my Delta all set to go now, I pulled my Cougar into the shop and finished up the last of the Total Control Products front suspension installation (tie-rods) and then yanked the front wheels off to have the new front tires mounted tomorrow. Next stop, alignment, and after a few more misc. items on the punch list, it will be set to go too.

Thanks guys for the kind words.

Whereas you guys put your hearts and souls into your G- Bodies, I've been constantly going through and improving the Cougar for the better part of the last 40 years. It was was a family heirloom that my Grandfather passed down to me. He was the original owner. It was my first car and I was 12 years old when he gave it to me.

I still have future plans for it too.

Well, I can't compete with that delta or ol cat just posted...

But I did have someone move the old firebird into the garage bay for me. Not real sure what we're gonna do with it.

Back when I lived in New Orleans it looked like this:

After over a decade of sitting at the in-laws (and currently in non-running condition) tonight it looks like this:

Did a few pulls with the new 275s in the nova... doing 120kmh in first gear with headers straight to purple hornies tucked right inside the frame rails, im sure the whole town heard the little 350 screaming 2:73 gears can still be fun!

I put some hose wips in the compressor to go from Chicago to npt so I can run air tools then I attempted to put a rear view mirror in the truck but the last guy glued the mount to the mirror :blam: took a little time but I think I got it with some creative use of duct tape ilI' wait until morning to see if it holds.

Over the years I've paid from 300 up to 1300 for a bed it's all about condition and availability

I am building a 1980's road bike into a hybrid for my Grandson. It is a light weight double butted cro-moly steel Centurion 12 speed with Shimano SIS down tube shifting. Today I rode it around adjusting the derailleur so it shifts properly with the SIS. Next is new tires but I want a wider footprint and the frame is narrow. I like the Continental Ride Tour with the puncture proof strip. No one advertises the complete dimensions!
